The COL-HUD-21D is built for all-USB-C meeting rooms — two full-featured USB-C inputs let any two laptops share the room display, USB peripherals, and network access without a single adapter. Both ports deliver DP Alt mode 4K60 4:4:4 video, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) data, 1G Ethernet pass-through, and simultaneous charging — up to 100W when one laptop is connected, or 50W each when both are active.
Designed for organizations standardizing on USB-C across their device fleet, the COL-HUD-21D removes HDMI from the equation entirely. What is the maximum video resolution?
Up to 4K60Hz 4:4:4 (18Gbps) on both USB-C inputs and the HDMI output. Both inputs require DP 1.4a Alt mode on the source device.
What HDR formats are supported?
HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG pass-through.
How does USB switching work with two laptops?
Default: Follow Video — peripherals switch with the active video source. Manual mode: 'set usb manual switch 1/2'. Auto mode: switches to the most recently connected host.
How do I integrate with a room control system?
Use RS-232 (115200-8N1) or TCP/IP (port 8000). Key commands: 'set output 1 from 1/2' for routing, 'set display 1 power 1/0' for display control. Full list via 'help' command.
What power supply is required?
The included 24V/7.5A supply (AC 100–240V, 50/60Hz). USB-C charging is only active when DC 24V supply is connected.
How do I mount the unit under a table?

No video from USB-C laptop?
Verify the laptop supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C — not all USB-C ports carry video. Try setting EDID to 1080P60 to rule out resolution mismatch.
No audio from the analog output?
Audio embedding to HDMI is not available on COL-HUD-21D (no HDMI input). Set analog audio embed to USB audio in Web GUI > Control. De-embedding from HDMI OUT is fully supported.
Can both USB-C laptops charge simultaneously?
Yes. When both USB-C IN ports are active, each delivers 50W PD. When only one is connected, it charges at up to 100W.
