Overview

Splits one 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI source to eight CAT-connected displays at distances up to 60m in a compact enclosure that mounts in shallow racks or hides behind equipment. The SP-HDPOC1X8 includes eight PoC-powered receivers — no separate power adapters at any display — just run CAT cables and power up.

Built for schools, retail chains, worship campuses, and hospitality venues that need more than four screens from a single source without the cost of enterprise HDBaseT. Supports HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, 3D, HDR10/HDR10+/HLG/Dolby Vision, and 7.1-channel lossless audio. Coaxial and 3.5mm audio extraction feeds amplifiers or powered speakers. Rotary EDID dial and Micro-USB ASCII command access handle mixed-display environments. CE/FCC/UL certified with a 3-year warranty.

What is the maximum video resolution and bandwidth supported?
Up to 4K2K@50/60Hz 4:4:4 with 594MHz/18Gbps video bandwidth. The unit is HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2/1.x, and DVI 1.0 compliant.
What are the maximum extension distances?
Up to 35m (115ft) at 4K2K@60Hz, up to 50m at 4K2K@30Hz, and up to 60m/197ft at 1080p@60Hz, each over a single CAT6/6a/7 cable run from the transmitter to a receiver.
How is EDID configured?
Per the product's control specification, EDID is set with a rotary dial switch on the transmitter, offering a range of resolution and audio-format presets to resolve handshake issues across mixed displays.
Does IR control pass through between the transmitter and receivers?
Yes, one-way. The transmitter has a 3.5mm IR OUT port and each receiver has a 3.5mm IR IN port, so a remote at the display end can control source equipment connected at the transmitter.
How many outputs does the SP-HDPOC1X8 have?
Eight. This is a compact 1x8 unit: one HDMI input, one HDMI loop-out on the transmitter, and eight CAT outputs, each feeding a receiver.
What are the transmitter and receiver dimensions and weight?
The transmitter measures approximately 11.81 x 3.94 x 1.10in (300 x 100 x 28mm) and weighs about 1.81lb (823g). Each receiver measures approximately 3.46 x 2.40 x 0.71in (88 x 61 x 18mm) and weighs about 0.34lb (155g).
There is no video on one or more displays. What should I check?
Confirm CAT6/6a/7 STP cable (solid-core, not CCA) is used on the affected run, check the connection indicator LEDs on both the transmitter and the receiver, and if displays use mixed native resolutions, set the EDID rotary dial to the lowest common resolution across all connected displays.
There is no audio from the coaxial or analog output. What should I check?
Confirm the source device is actually outputting audio over HDMI, and for Dolby or DTS surround formats select an EDID preset that includes 5.1-channel audio.
What kind of installations is the SP-HDPOC1X8 designed for?
It suits classrooms, retail signage, worship overflow, and residential multi-room setups needing up to eight displays where cable runs stay under 60m and a compact, low-configuration splitter is preferred over enterprise control features.
Does the unit require configuration before use?
No separate configuration is required for basic operation. Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter, run CAT cable to each of the eight receivers, connect displays, and power the transmitter; PoC powers all eight receivers automatically.
