Compliant with HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2, the controller supports Dolby Digital, DTS, and LPCM audio pass-through with dedicated optical and analog L/R audio de-embedding. What output resolutions are available?

720p@60Hz, 1080p@60Hz, 4K@30Hz, and XGA (1024x768@60Hz). All four HDMI outputs share the same resolution.

Can I connect a USB-C laptop directly?

Yes. The USB-C input accepts DP Alt Mode video up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4. No dongle or adapter required.

Verify HDMI cables are Premium High Speed rated. Check that the selected video wall mode includes the affected output. In video wall mode (except 1x1), only screens assigned to the wall display images.

Press the RES button on the front panel or use the RS-232 command to cycle output resolutions. Ensure displays support the selected resolution.

How does this differ from the KanexPro VW-SP1X44K?

VW-SP1X44K is the previous generation: HDMI-only input, larger rack-mount form factor, older chipset. VW-HDUSBC1X4 adds USB-C, compact desktop form, HDMI 2.0b/HDCP 2.2, and 4K60 4:4:4 input.
