Overview

The KanexPro VW-SP-1X44K is a 4K based video processor which allows one HDMI input to be freely arranged on to four 4K displays. It offers bezel correction support with a simple and easy to use control application. The device supports video output timings up to WUXGA@60 and 1080p@60Hz, audio format up to 7.1CH LPCM at 192kHz sampling rate based on input source EDID.

Easy to Control from Anywhere

The video processor can be controlled from anywhere using a tablet or any other 3rd party control system using RS-232 and Telnet.

Applications:

Ideal for digital signage markets, large scale presentations, hyper market displays and command and control applications where high resolution video wall is needed.

What input resolutions does the VW-SP1X44K accept?

The HDMI IN port accepts PC resolutions from VGA up to WUXGA, HDTV formats from 480i up to 1080p, and 4K2K at 24, 25, or 30Hz.

What output resolutions does the VW-SP1X44K deliver to each display?

Per the unit's Output Resolution reference table and its Introduction, output video timings top out at WUXGA@60 and 1080p@60Hz -- the Introduction explicitly states supported output timings are 'up to WUXGA@60 and 1080p@60Hz,' and no entry in the output resolution table exceeds 2048x1152 (RB).

How do I configure a video wall layout and bezel correction by command?

Set the wall format with SMN N1 N2 (N1=row, N2=column, each 1-15), then apply SBH N1 and SBV N1 (each 0-255) for horizontal and vertical bezel correction, and SBEZ N1 to enable or disable bezel correction (0=Off, 1=On).

RS-232 control is limited to a single Video Wall unit and is not intended for use with cascade or bypass output connections. Use Telnet via the CONTROL RJ45 port with the VW-SP1X44K AP application instead for multi-unit control.
