Overview

Deliver network audio directly to speakers with a compact, DSP-equipped Class D amplifier featuring Dante 2-channel digital I/O. The KanexPro AUD-DTE-2CHAMP is a 150W Class D amplifier that decodes Dante network audio and drives low-impedance (4Ω/8Ω) stereo speakers or constant-voltage (70V/100V) distributed speaker lines — with balanced analog line-level I/O for legacy integration.

Built-in DSP provides 31-band graphic EQ, per-output delay (0–50ms), independent input gain and volume control, and five recallable presets. The amplifier accepts Dante PCM 2-channel audio at up to 96KHz/24-bit alongside balanced stereo line input. A rear-panel speaker impedance switch selects Lo-Z stereo (2×75W @ 4Ω/8Ω), bridged mono (1×150W @ 8Ω), or Hi-Z constant voltage (1×150W @ 70V/100V). Control via RS-232, LAN, and Web GUI. 5–12V trigger input and auto standby for energy-efficient installations. Half-rack/full-rack mountable.

Key features
  • Dante 2-channel digital audio input and output (PCM, 44.1K–96KHz, 16/24-bit) for seamless networked audio distribution
  • Balanced or unbalanced stereo line-level analog input and output (max 2Vrms) for integration with legacy analog sources and processors
  • Class D amplifier delivers 2×75W @ 4Ω/8Ω stereo, 1×150W @ 8Ω bridged mono, or 1×150W @ 70V/100V constant voltage
  • Rear-panel speaker impedance switch selects Lo-Z (4Ω/8Ω) or Hi-Z (70V/100V) output mode without reconfiguration
  • Built-in DSP with 31-band graphic EQ (−10 to +10dB), per-output delay (0–50ms), independent input gain and master volume control
  • Five recallable presets store complete audio configuration for rapid scene switching in multi-use spaces
  • 5–12V trigger input for external mute control; auto standby (0–120 min) for energy-efficient operation
  • Control via RS-232 (115200 baud), LAN (Web GUI), and TCP/IP (port 8000) — half-rack/full-rack mountable

What output power does the AUD-DTE-2CHAMP deliver?
In Lo-Z mode it outputs 2x75W at 4 Ohm/8 Ohm stereo or 1x150W at 8 Ohm bridged mono; in Hi-Z mode it outputs 1x150W at 70V or 100V constant voltage.
What is the amplifier's audio performance?
Frequency response is 20Hz-20kHz at +/-3dB, signal-to-noise ratio is 87dB (20Hz-10kHz), and THD+N is 0.04% at 1kHz into 1W, with 27-30dB SE / 39-42dB BTL max voltage gain.
What is the default network configuration for Web GUI access?
The amplifier ships with IP address 192.168.0.200, subnet mask 255.255.0.0, gateway 169.254.100.1, DHCP mode, TCP/IP port 8000, Telnet port 23, and login Admin/1234 (or User/1234).
How do I control the amplifier over RS-232?
Connect to the RS-232/TRG Phoenix port at 115200 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity; commands include "s master vol x" to set master volume (0-100), "s output x mix y" to set output mix mode, and "s preset recall x" to recall preset 1-5.
What are the dimensions and weight of the AUD-DTE-2CHAMP?
9.45 in x 8.27 in x 1.73 in (240 x 210 x 44mm), 4.14 lbs (1.88kg), half-rack mountable with an aluminum front and metal rear enclosure.
What is included in the box?
The package includes the 150W Class D amplifier, three 5-pin 3.81mm Phoenix connectors, two 4-pin 5.08mm Phoenix connectors, six mounting ears, 24 machine screws, a 1.5m AC power cord (100-240V), and a product manual.
There is no audio output from the speakers - what should I check?
Verify the SPEAKER switch matches the connected speaker type, confirm LINE or DANTE is selected as the active input, check that master and output volumes are not muted or at zero, and ensure the PROTECT LED is not illuminated.
I cannot access the Web GUI - what should I check?
Connect the LAN port to the same network as your PC; the default IP is 192.168.0.200, or locate the DHCP-assigned IP via Dante Controller > Device Info, or try the HDP-PA150D.local hostname with login Admin/1234.
What makes the AUD-DTE-2CHAMP suitable for networked audio distribution projects?
It combines Dante 2-channel digital networking with switchable Lo-Z/Hi-Z Class D amplification and onboard DSP (31-band GEQ, delay, presets), letting integrators drive both direct-connect stereo speakers and 70V/100V distributed lines from a single half-rack unit.
How does the SPEAKER switch simplify multi-room or mixed-load installs?
A single rear-panel switch reconfigures the same amplifier between 4/8 Ohm stereo output and 70V/100V constant-voltage output without rewiring the DSP or control setup, so one model covers both direct speaker runs and long distributed-speaker lines.
