Overview

Distribute one HDMI source to four displays simultaneously with HDR and Dolby Vision pass-through — no driver installation, plug and play. The KanexPro SP-HD1X44K is a 10.2Gbps 1×4 HDMI splitter that delivers up to 4K×2K@60Hz (YCbCr 4:2:0) across all four outputs. Its front-panel EDID switch (STD/TV modes) ensures reliable resolution negotiation across mixed-display environments.

HDCP 1.4 compliant for protected content playback. Supports HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and all HDMI 3D formats. Audio pass-through includes PCM up to 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Built in a compact metal enclosure (163 × 63 × 16 mm, 260 g) drawing just 1W, with a Mini USB service port for firmware updates. Included 5V/1A power adapter.

Image quality differs across outputs.
Set EDID to TV mode with the highest-resolution display on OUT 1. The splitter outputs the lowest common denominator resolution.
Does it need a power supply?
Yes. It comes with a 5V 1A DC adapter that plugs into a 5.5 x 2.1 mm centre-positive barrel jack, and draws about 2W at full load. It can also run from a 5V USB-A port with a USB-A to 5.5 x 2.1 mm centre-positive barrel cable. The matching spare AC adapter is the KanexPro EXT-PSU3.
What HDCP version does this support?
HDCP 1.4 only. For HDCP 2.2, consider the SP-HD20-1X44K.
What is the maximum video resolution?
4K×2K@60Hz YCbCr 4:2:0 and 4K@30Hz 4:4:4 at 10.2Gbps bandwidth.
What do the EDID STD and TV modes do?
STD outputs 1080p@60Hz 2ch default to all outputs. TV copies the EDID from the display on OUT 1 to all outputs for uniform resolution.
No signal on one or more displays.
1) Verify Premium High Speed HDMI cables. 2) Switch EDID to STD mode. 3) Power-cycle. 4) Ensure all displays support the source resolution.
Can outputs show different resolutions?
No. All four outputs mirror the same resolution. The splitter outputs the lowest common denominator.
Can this run 24/7?
Yes. The metal enclosure and low power draw (about 2W) support continuous operation for digital signage and worship applications.
Does this support HDR and Dolby Vision?
Yes. HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision pass-through on all four outputs.
What audio formats are supported?
PCM 2.0/5.1/7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DSD via HDMI pass-through.
