Overview

Distributes one 4K60 HDMI source to four identical displays at the full 18Gbps — 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR intact on every screen. Housed in a compact black metal enclosure and driven from a single 5V/1A supply, this 1×4 distribution amplifier carries the full 18Gbps signal to all four outputs at once, mirroring one source across a group of panels. It is the right choice for digital signage, conference rooms and multi-display zones where a predictable handshake and full-color 4K integrity matter more than the scaling and audio-breakout carried by premium matrix hardware.

The unit passes 4K60 4:4:4 at 8, 10 or 12-bit color with HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG to every output, and carries audio up to 7.1CH including LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio. HDCP 2.3, 2.2 and 1.4 compliance clears protected content from streaming and disc sources to compliant displays, while a front-panel EDID dial sets the whole group in one move — TV copies the EDID of the OUT 1 display to all four outputs, and STD holds a safe 1080p60 two-channel default when the displays differ. A USB Type-C service port keeps firmware current. Purpose-built as a mirror rather than a scaler, it delivers top-tier HDCP 2.3 distribution without the premium of features a mirror job never uses.

What is the maximum HDMI cable length at each resolution?
At 4K60 the recommended maximum HDMI cable length is 26 ft (8 m); at 1080p it is 49 ft (15 m). KanexPro recommends a Premium High Speed HDMI cable.
What color depths and color spaces does it pass?
It passes 8-bit, 10-bit and 12-bit color depth across RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2 and YCbCr 4:2:0.
Does the SP-HDMI1X4-18G need a control system or an RS-232/IP controller?
No. It carries no RS-232, Telnet or network control; the only setting control is the front-panel EDID dial switch, and the USB Type-C SERVICE port is for firmware updates only.
What sources and displays does it sit between?
It takes one HDMI source, such as a DVD or Blu-ray player or a PS5, and feeds four separate displays (for example TV 1 through TV 4) at the same time.
How is the SP-HDMI1X4-18G powered?
Use the included DC 5V/1A power supply into the DC 5V input port on the rear; the unit draws 3W maximum.
What connects to each port?
Connect the HDMI source, such as a Blu-ray player or PS5, to HDMI IN, and connect up to four displays to HDMI OUT 1 through 4 using HDMI cables.
The unit shows no sign of power. What do I check?
The red POWER LED lights when the device is powered on; if it stays dark, confirm the included DC 5V/1A supply is connected to the DC 5V input port.
One display is blank while the others work. Where do I start?
Each HDMI OUT has a green LED that lights when a display is connected, so check that output's LED and its HDMI cable; at 4K60 keep the cable within 26 ft (8 m).
Does this splitter downscale, so I can mix a 4K display with 1080p ones?
No. SP-HDMI1X4-18G is a straight 1-to-4 mirror: every output carries the same signal. For mixed-resolution displays that need per-output downscaling, the SP-HD1X48K (8K 1x4 with auto downscaling) is the right choice. If the mix is only for compatibility, set the EDID dial to STD and all four outputs
Will it keep 4K60 with full color and HDR on all four outputs?
Yes. The unit runs at 18Gbps and passes 4K60 4:4:4 at 8, 10 or 12-bit with HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG to all four outputs at once.
