JPEG2000, visually lossless, up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 over HDMI 2.0b at 18Gbps with HDCP 2.2.

How far can it send over the network?

Up to 328ft / 100m over CAT6, CAT6A or CAT7 on a standard 1G managed network.

Can a laptop drive it over USB-C alone?

Yes. USB-C IN 1 carries video, audio and USB data; USB-C IN 2 provides PD 100W charging back to the source. HDMI and USB-C switch automatically.

How is it controlled, and does it do video wall?

Web GUI, RS-232, TCP/IP, CEC and IR, with the AVO-IPCTL-JP2K controller sold separately. Unicast, multicast, matrix switching and video wall up to 9x9, which is 81 displays.

What does it mount into and how is it powered?

A US 2-gang wall box. The magnetic-attachment panel snaps in without tools. Power is PoE (802.3af PD) or DC 12V/2.5A from the multinational supply.

Audio return on this unit is analog only, on the 3.5mm Phoenix connector. Digital return is not part of the design.

Yes. The encoder publishes an MJPEG sub-stream for preview.

Optionally, through Dante AV-A, which is license activated.
